How to Enable “Side Tabs” Feature In Google Chrome

Usually, tabs for web pages in browsers are arranged horizontally on top of the browser window. This arrangement has disadvantages that, when many tabs open, it becomes impossible to read their titles and also horizontal tabs take up valuable vertical space on widescreen displays.

So, the best solution for this, is to arrange them vertically. Side Tabs is an experimental feature, for the moment that allows you to show tabs in the left sidebar of the web browser window. To do so follow the instruction as below.

1. Launch the Google Chrome Web browser.

2. Type about:flags in address bar of the chrome window and press Enter.

3. You'll see "Side Tabs" option listed at the top of the list of experiments. Click on Enable link.

4. Restart your browser to save the setting.

5. Now Right-click on the new tab and select "Use side tabs" option.

Now, The tabs in the Google Chrome window appear in the left sidebar.
