HOW TO CONVERT VIDEOS USING VLC MEDIA PLAYER

Welcome to our today's lesson, which is about to convert videos by using VLC (VideoLan).

I know its well known software and there are many users who use it as a media player.

But today we are going to learn how to use it not only as media player but also as a converter, and this is how to do it.

First you have to have the VLC software which you can download it by searching on Google and choose any website which will be suggested to direct you to the download of VLC software, Or you can click here 

After downloading and installing VLC now you can follow these steps so to be able to use it as a converter.

Step number one;

Open VLC media player

Step number two;

Click on Media

Step number three;

A short menu will appear, click on convert/save

Step number four;

A folder will appear, click on "add"

Step number five;

You will be directed to another folder which allows you to choose a video or videos you want to convert and click open.

Step number six;

After adding a video and clicking open, a folder will appear click on profile bar to choose a format that you want for your converting.

Step number seven;

Then you have to choose a location file in which your converted files will be saved, by clicking browse on destination section.

Step number eight;

After clicking browse a file will appear which you can select where to put your converted files and click on the selected file and then you have to write a name of the file you are converting (on file name bar) then click save for the files to saved there.

Step number nine;

Click start and the converting will start to convert your file.

In this last step you will see the converting process going like this.

Therefor after performing all these steps you will be successful be able to convert videos using VLC.
